Pebbles are the smaller of the two groups of stone. They are more rounded than chippings and add a sleek contemporary finish to your garden or landscape. Pebbles are typically used for driveways, pathways, decorative borders and ornamental water features. Some of our hardier pebbles around the 20mm size are ideal for driveways as they do not get stuck in car tyres and are easier to drive upon 20-30mm Scottish Pebbles. Pebbles such as our 20mm Ocean Blue pebbles which are softer in nature, work in decorative areas and ornamental water features.
Cobbles are the larger stones which tend to be more rounded in nature but can also be angular and oblong shaped.They work well if you are looking for something unique to go in gabion baskets Rainbow Cobbles or if you are looking to build up a natural free-flowing water feature 50-75mm Scottish Cobbles. Other popular uses are laid within a rockery feature and within general landscaping.
Maintenance
Cobbles and Pebbles are relatively easy to maintain whereby an occasional hosedown or good rainfall will wash away any dirt. If however they are situated close to greenery, we would recommend a more frequent hosedown to avoid any moss or mould buildup.
