Slates
Our selection of welsh slate chippings are graded at 20mm and 40mm and both sizes come in colours of: plum, blue, green and black. We also supply the larger 50-100mm paddlestones which are tumbled allowing for a more smoother finish with rounded edges.
Application
The most popular uses for our slate chippings are pathways and driveways as the flat, an-gular shape allows the slate to lock in together. Similarly, once a weed suppression mem-brane is applied 1 x 15mm groundcheck extra the slate is an economic and easy solution to lay on front gardens, patios, beds and borders. It is also fish friendly and is particularly effective in ponds and water features.
Maintenance
Slate is extremely hard wearing and requires a low level of care. Jet washing or hos-ing occasionally will keep the slate looking at it’s best.
