Flint: The most popular and economic stone. Marine- based flint shingle is a hard-wearing, local Sussex stone. We have this product in a range of sizes from 6mm to 80mm. Ideal for pathways, driveways, rockeries and general landscaping. Available sizes 6mm channel gravel, 10mm channel gravel, 20mm Channel Gravel, 40mm Channel Gravel and 40mm-80mm Channel Gravel.
We also stock land-based flint shingle; which is more angular and ideal for preventing the shingle from being kicked around when laid. This is available as 6mm cracker grit, 6mm horticultural grit, 10mm Golden Flint, 20mm Golden Flint and 20mm Mortimer.
Granite: Due to its mineralogy and structure, this is an extremely hard-wearing stone.It’s angular and vivid availability of colour’s red, green, grey and pink make it ideal for drive-ways, pathways, rockeries, water features. 14mm green granite, 10mm red granite,
10mm red granite, 14mm red granite, 20mm red granite, 14mm salmon pink.
Limestone: This is also a very economic and popular stone. Versatile and hard wearing but with a softer composition. Ideal for driveways, borders, footpaths, landscaping and decorative garden projects. We offer two a white limestone (grey) and Cotswold chippings (buff/cream) available in sizes: 10mm white limestone, 14mm white limestone, 20mm white limestone and 20mm cotswold chippings.
Marble: This is an extremely hard- wearing stone, with floral colour’s of pink, white, orange and blue. In the sunlight it sparkles and adds a shine to any garden or landscape when applied to driveways, lawn borders, footpaths, raised beds, interior design features and decorative garden rockeries. Available as 14-20mm flamingo chippings, 20mm ice blue chippings and 20mm onyx
Dolomite: This is a hard-wearing material, which glistens and sparkles within any land-scape or garden. Ideal when set against a darker background our 20mm polar white looks stunning in decorative garden borders, rockeries, pots and within ornamental water features and fountains.
Dolomitic Limestone: As a more decorative stone, Derbyshire gold 10-20mm is more suited to garden borders and pathways rather than driveways as it softer in comparions to flints, basalt and granites.
Natural Quartz: A natural angular stone, with colour’s of beige, buff and reddish brown. This hard-wearing stone is suited to driveways where it enhances any contemporary or traditional landscape. It also brightens up decorative rockeries 20mm Heritage quartz gravel.
Quartzite: This is a blend of both rounded pebbles and angular chippings. Our Stafford-shire pink is a blend of rose and brown shades that darken when wet. Ideal for driveways, landscaping projects, roofing, foothpath, decorative garden areas, ponds, aquatics and water features. 14mm staffordshire pink, 20mm staffordshire pink.
Volcanic Basalt: An increasingly popular stone with it’s dark shades of grey and black, this angular volcanic stone is ideal for driveways, decorative borders, raised beds water features and ponds. It’s added benefit is that it naturally is mould resistant so maintenance is far lower, 10mm black basalt, 14mm black basalt, 20mm black basalt.

Maintenance
To keep your chosen gravel looking its best, we would recommend jet-washing/ hose-down regularly to remove dirt particles. Especially if the gravel is being laid under trees/ greenery and water features to avoid moss and mould buildup.
